Help…My Sink is under Water!

It starts out slowly.  Your kitchen or bathroom sink is not emptying at the same pace that it used to.  It seems to happen suddenly, now your sink is literally overflowing if you leave the faucet on for any length of time.  This situation is not only annoying it can result in a lot of damage to the floors below.

What are some DIY solutions to a clogged sink?

1.  Fill your sink with enough water to cover the rubber of a plunger.
2.  Now apply elbow grease and move the plunger up and down several times with gusto.
3.  See if the water is receding.  If not, try again.
4.  You might pour one cup of baking soda down the drain combined with a cup of vinegar.
5.  This solution will foam up, so don’t freak out.
