Plumbing Tips in the Changing Seattle Weather.

Winter may not be as harsh here as it is in Boise for example, but for your plumbing it may be rough.  It demands your attention as winter approaches.  If you ignore the changing season you could be looking at severe plumbing problems and some big-time expenses!  If you observe the proper winterizing tips you can be prepared for the next 6 months.

Here are some preventative maintenance reminders –

1.  Insulate your pipes.  Freezing pipes can result in gushing water.
2.  Check the foundation of your house.  Is a water leak in your basement a real possibility?
3.  If you have a well as a water source then make sure that your pump hose is checked.
4.  Don’t let your water heater suddenly stop working.  Use age a beginning barometer.

Naturally, there are others.  One way to make sure the job is done completely the first time is to call Shawn Allen.  Folks in the Snohomish, WA area have counted on this master plumber to do ALL of their plumbing maintenance and repairs for well over 3 decades.  That’s right…it starts with a phone call to (425) 367-4744 and have Shawn do all of your plumbing inspection.
